SCOOP H2O
"The first river you paddle runs through you the rest of your life. It bubbles up in pools and eddies to remind you who you are."
Join fellow first-year students for some Adirondack fun. This outdoor program offers fun days of white water rafting, canoeing, kayaking, S'upping, think H2O. All river equipment is provided. Please feel free to bring your guitar, fiddle or other musical instrument to play around the campfire at night.
You do not need previous rafting or kayaking experience, just a desire for adventure. The white water rafting is led by Licensed New York State guides.
"Deciding to do a pre-orientation was easily the best decision I made as a freshman. Starting college can be incredibly awkward and scary, but I have learned that there's nothing like a little wilderness bonding to bring people together and erase all nervous feelings! It's an experience you will never forget." —Matt Walsh '13 SCOOP peer leader and coordinator for H2O
Please do not forget your required forms to attend scoop, found here on the SCOOP HOMEPAGE.
